Rockies’ Minor League Affiliate in California Picks Up Training Camp Attendee

Zach BrockmanPORTLAND, OREGON —Game Face Sports Career Training Camp attendee Zach Brockman has been placed as an account executive with the Modesto Nuts of Minor League Baseball’s California League, the “high-A” affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Brockman met Game Face at the Chicago Bulls Career Fair and immediately recognized the Training Camp as his vehicle into the industry. He earned a business administration degree from Robert Morris College in Illinois, where he was also captain of the baseball team.

“The value of attending the Training Camp for me was two-fold. First, it provided me with training that opened my eyes to brand new concepts I hadn’t considered and provided me with the foundation necessary to succeed,” said Brockman. “Second, the placement support allowed me to interview with a number of teams I would not have been introduced to otherwise. The guidance and coaching I received through the interview process ultimately led to a full-time job in baseball!”
