PORTLAND, OREGON — Game Face Sports Career Training Camp attendee Jeff Sawyer has been placed into a full-time, account executive position with Maloof Sports and Entertainment. He will join three other Training Camp attendees in promoting, marketing, and selling the WNBA Champion Sacramento Monarchs, the Sacramento Kings, and other events at Arco Arena.

Sawyer received his B.A. in sport management from Washington State University where he was involved in coaching youth sports and administering various collegiate sporting events around campus. “When I realized I wouldn’t be playing professional sports I decided to complete a degree in sport management so I could work in the industry anyway,” explained Sawyer. “After graduating and attending many sports-related job fairs with no success, I discovered the Game Face Training Camp and knew immediately that this was the next step to obtaining a future career in sports. They provided me with all the executive training, interviewing skills, and confidence to land a job in sports.” Sawyer is a native of Vancouver, Washington.
