PORTLAND, OREGON — Game Face Sports Career Training Camp attendee Jason England has been placed into a full-time account executive position with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He will promote, market and sell season ticket plans for the team at Dolphin Stadium, home of Super Bowl XLI.
Director of Ticket Sales Chris Gallagher traveled to Game Face headquarters in Oregon to interview England and several other candidates. “The biggest reason I came to Portland is we know what kind of quality candidates we’re going to get from the Training Camp. I would want whoever I hire to go through this training anyway, so it’s nice to know that they are already on board, speak the same language, and will be ready to go,” said Gallagher.
Originally from the Midwest, England received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1996 and went to work in the golf industry. After three years in golf travel, he moved to California to work for Titleist and complete law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2004. Still driven to work in team sports, he stayed at Titleist until learning of the Training Camp.
“Deciding to attend Game Face was one of the best decisions I’ve made,” said England. “I had several years of sales experience, but still found it difficult to break in with a sports team. Game Face’s placement service is what convinced me to attend and the skills I learned are second to none. It has made the transition into the front office of the Miami Dolphins seamless.”
