Headquartered in Portland, Oregon and with offices on both coasts, over the past 10 years GFES has filled more than 100 mid to senior-level positions in sports and placed over 400 full-time entry-level positions within the field. After establishing the division's highest revenue year in 2007, Game Face Executive Search grew 74 percent in 2008.
YOCOM PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Coinciding with the 10-year anniversary, Game Face President and Founder Rob Cornilles announced Jeff Yocom has been elevated to Senior Vice President of the Executive Search division. "As we reflect on the last 10 years as executive recruiters, we are proud of the relationships we've formed and the lives we've impacted," Cornilles said. "And today, even with a stubborn economy, to be such influencers in helping thousands of individuals enhance their careers in a competitive and changing industry through not only best-fit jobs, but also career coaching, is a testament to the hard work and skill of Jeff and our executive search manager, Steve Masterson, and all those who have helped build up our Search Division."
Yocom commented: "Especially in this age of enhanced technology and social media, executive search is a people business where relationships, credibility and trust are paramount. By approaching our work as if we have two clients - the organizations that entrust their recruiting to us, as well as the professionals whose careers we help to advance - we've differentiated ourselves as true partners and collaborators. We are excited to continue building upon the relationships we've developed thus far, and to contribute to the success of even more organizations and individuals over the next ten years."
