Golden State Warriors Add Fourth Game Face Training Camp Candidate to Staff

PORTLAND, OREGON —Game Face Sports Career Training Camp participant Colby Edgmon has been hired by the Golden State Warriors into a full-time ticket sales representative position. He is the fourth Game Face candidate hired by the Warriors in the last four years.

Edgmon graduated in December 2007 from Baylor University with a bachelor of business administration degree while majoring in sport management. After completing an internship with a National Basketball Association D-League team, he turned to the Game Face Training Camp to strengthen his candidacy for a full-time job.

"I had good contacts in the industry and used them in my job search, but discovered that the competition is fierce and that having contacts isn't enough. That's when my internship supervisor suggested that I look into attending Game Face," said Edgmon. "The Training Camp provided a great foundation for my career and I'm thrilled to be able utilize the skills I developed with the Golden State Warriors."

ABOUT GAME FACE SPORTS JOBS
In 2000, Game Face answered the urgent call from sports team executives who were seeking better trained, more experienced entry level sales professionals. Using the world renowned Game Face Sales Training Camp™ as the basis for its training, Game Face President Rob Cornilles designed the Training Camp eight years ago to provide sports job candidates with the revenue-generating skills, hands-on experience, and job placement assistance necessary to begin a long-term career in sports.

RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS
Teams from all of major and minor league sports, along with venues, agencies, intercollegiate athletic departments, and motor sports entities have hired candidates who attended the Training Camp and continue to seek new hires from Game Face.

While other conferences and seminars seek to duplicate the success of the Training Camp, each year Game Face continues to place more attendees in full-time (non-internship) positions year round than all others combined.
