PORTLAND, OREGON — Game Face is pleased to announce that the 50th Game Face Sports Career Training Camp, beginning January 21, 2008, is generating buzz and attention from sports teams around the country. Many major league and minor league organizations have expressed their intention to interview and hire the graduates of the session. Only a few seats remain for professionals looking to enhance their education with sports specific sales training in order to stand out among other sports job applicants and to develop skills that will accelerate their career growth.
GAME FACE SPORTS CAREER TRAINING CAMP
In 2000, Game Face answered the urgent call from sports team executives who were seeking better trained, more experienced entry level sales professionals. Using the world renowned Game Face Sales Training Camp™ as the basis for its training, Game Face President Rob Cornilles designed the Training Camp, formerly known as the Executive Academy, to provide sports job candidates with the revenue-generating skills, hands-on experience, and job placement assistance necessary to begin a long-term career in sports.
RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS
Nearly eight years later, and after 49 completed sessions, hundreds of professionals who participated in the Training Camp are now working in sports and rapidly moving up the ranks in management. Teams from all of major and minor league sports, along with venues, agencies, intercollegiate athletic departments, and motor sports entities have hired candidates who attended the Training Camp and continue to seek new hires from Game Face.
While other conferences and seminars seek to duplicate the success of the Training Camps, each year Game Face continues to place more attendees in full-time (non-internship) positions year round than all others combined.
