Job Description:
Our client, a midwest based sports and entertainment agency seeks a Director of Business Development to complement their entrpreneurial efforts and to help them continue to grow. Position will be chief sales professional within the organization engaging with brands (primary focus) as well as sports properties (secondary focus).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new business by regularly pitching prospects through phone conversations and personal appointments
- Provide superior customer service to prospects regardless of whether they utilize our services
- Creatively contribute to agency's sales and marketing processes to help grow the business

Qualifications:
- Previous sports sponsorship and/or research experience
- Proven success in a sales/business development role
- An aptitude and interest in research and measurement
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and a team player
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong knowledge of Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Prior experience with market research and/or financial analysis is beneficial
