Job Description:  A minor league sports organization in the Southeastern United States is seeking a talented, driven sales producer. The role of Senior Account Executive will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of season tickets, group events, premium inventory, signage, and corporate partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Generate revenue through the sales of group and season tickets, mini-plans, sponsorships, and signage
• Provide customer support and develop excellent relations with the existing fan base
• Establish and develop relationships with clients and prospects through outbound calling and out-of-office appointments including presentations
• Attain individual and departmental sales goals and complete requisite amount of prospecting activity as set by the VP of ticket sales
• Maintain accurate documentation of prospecting and sales activity
• Help maximize renewal business and facilitate administrative support as needed
• Work in conjunction with the entire ticket sales & service team to uphold the mandates of the department regarding sales & service goals and objectives
• Other duties as necessary to support ticket sales office objectives

Qualifications: 

• Over one (1) year of ticket sales experience in the sports industry for a major or minor league organization is a must; over two (2) years is ideal
• Experience selling signage, advertising, and/or sponsorships a plus. This experience can be for an organization outside the sports industry (TV, radio, print, online media, et al.)
• Bachelor's degree required
• Aggressive personality preferred
• Ability to work independently a must
• Willingness to work long hours, including, but not limited to game nights required
• Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook as well as ability to learn and master new software programs
• Must be able to escort and show potential customers various seating options and facilities around the arena
• Professional image and demeanor
