Job Description: High-prestige, west coast baseball team seeking a corporate ticket sales account executive. The corporate ticket sales account executive position will report directly to the director of ticket sales. This position is an entry-level, full-time position. Duties and Responsibilities:The Account Executive will:
- Be responsible for sales of ticket inventory, including:
- Club and Premier Seats
- Season Tickets
- Mini-Plan Packages
- Group Events, including Party Area pre-game meals
- Suites
- Follow the primary sales practices as developed by the vice president, ticket sales & marketing and director of ticket sales
- Work with the sales staff to generate new leads and research new ways to sell ticket packages
- Work with the director of ticket sales to develop, and manage/coordinate any ticket sales telemarketing campaigns
- Maintain a current database of all accounts and potential accounts
- Participate in sales meetings
- Assist with all ticket operational duties by working closely with the manager of tickets learning and becoming functional in the ticket operations system
- Provide excellent customer service to all personal and sales staff accounts during the sales effort, as well as during the sales follow-through at the event
- Fulfill in-game duties during the season
- Work with the ticket sales coordinator & package renewal coordinator to ensure quality post-event customer service, including phone calls, surveys, etc
- Complete sales and marketing training, as well as customer service training as per to be determined programs
- Represent the organization at business and community functions
- Be a leader in customer service
- Work as a member of a TEAM, and Have Fun!!!
- Fulfill other duties as determined by the general manager/president & director of ticket sales
Qualifications: A desire to excel at ticket sales and a willingness to learn a system of sales. A desire to work in the team sports industry, and a commitment to career development that will allow the applicant to work abnormal hours in an intense environment.
