Job Description: As an Account Executive for this southwestern hockey club, you will begin building your sports resume through your performance developing relationships throughout the community that produce new ticket sales opportunities. A successful executive will use cold calls, face-to-face meetings and email marketing as methods for building lasting relationships with local businesses and individuals. As a member of our sales team, a high level of performance will enable you the opportunity to take on additional roles in both sales and management as your skills and resume continually develop.
Duties and Responsibilities: THE CLUB SEEKS SELF STARTERS WHO MAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OR SOME OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Prospecting for new clients in season tickets, groups, suites and hospitality events
- Contacting qualified and unqualified sales leads for ticket purchases
- Handling customer service and ticketing issues of assigned customers
- Soliciting premium seating packages
- Managing existing ticket sales accounts
- Attending/staffing additional outside events
- Work during all games and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned (i.e. contract fulfillment)
Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner
- Superior time management and presentation skills
- Must possess an aggressive, competitive, and dedicated attitude
- Must be highly motivated with a strong aspiration to be successful
- Must be able to work all team home games and game day duties including playoffs
- Strong customer service skills
- Must demonstrate a high degree of time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
