Job Description:  As a member of a major league franchise ticket sales department, representatives are responsible for proactively sourcing new and renewing current business, reacting to presenting business, as well as single game order taking and fulfillment. Extensive outbound and inbound phone contact. Some evenings and weekends required. Essential duties & responsibilities include: Utilize the present system to drive new subscription sales and renewals for flex packs. Up-sell into more significant subscription level packs. Deal with incoming calls and processing single game ticket orders for clients. Recognize and react to customer service issues with quick and positive solutions. Proactively source new business. Work constructively with other core members of ticket sales team to achieve sales targets. Work in conjunction with the entire ticket sales & service team to uphold the mandates of the department regarding sales & service goals and objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Prior experience working for a professional sports franchise or commensurate sales-training requested. Excellent relationship building and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within the organization. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner. Knowledge of Word, Excel and other database systems. A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction. Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines. Assertive, confident, persistent and results-oriented. Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills. While looking to succeed personally, you must be able and interested in supporting a team environment and adhering to the Ticket Sales & Service department's objectives, goals and mandates. Familiarity with event ticketing system a plus. Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
